A Solution for Happy Pets and Happy Pet Parents

As pet owners, have you ever faced the challenges of your dog or cat going into heat? Does your dog constantly cling to your leg? Bark incessantly? Or maybe even become so frustrated that they unintentionally hurt you? These are common experiences for many pet parents. The story of Humptoys began with these very struggles.

Our founder, Zara, and the dedicated team behind Humptoys are passionate pet owners just like you. In the summer of 2023, we found ourselves discussing our pets’ behaviors during their heat cycles. We shared the frustration and empathy for each other’s struggles, realizing we all had the same concerns for our pets’ well-being.

A Better Solution for Pet Health

Traditionally, the solution to pets’ heat-related behaviors has been neutering. But have we really considered what’s best for our pets? Do they really want this? We believe it’s their right to feel comfortable and natural during these times. Neutering can cause both physical and emotional consequences, including health risks such as mast cell cancer, lymphoma, joint issues, and even obesity. In addition, neutered pets can experience increased anxiety, fear, and cognitive decline, which is rarely discussed among pet owners.

A Healthier, More Natural Approach

As we considered a more humane and healthy solution, we realized that humans have toys to help manage their own sexual needs, so why not pets? Why not provide them with a safe, natural, and effective solution that helps them feel more comfortable and confident? For less than the cost of a bottle of wine or a lipstick, you can help your pet maintain their dignity and well-being, without resorting to neutering. This is a much more affordable and humane alternative compared to the high costs of surgery or post-neutering treatments.

The Birth of Humptoys

And so, Humptoys was born. Initially, we launched the male Dog Hump Toy, which has already brought joy to over 10,000 dogs. Through continuous research and collaboration with trusted suppliers, we expanded our product line to include a Cat Hump Toy for male cats and a Female Cat Mating Toy.
